10:40-10:55 am – Yasufumi Nakamori, Head Curator of Photography and New Media at Mia will talk about his exhibition New Pictures: Omer Fast, Appendix, which features a recent acquisition of time-based media art at Mia, Omer Fast’s 3-D stereoscopic film August
11-11:40 am – Kristen Regina (former ARLIS/NA president) and Karina Wratschko from the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) will introduce the National Digital Stewardship Residency for Art Information (NDSR Art) program, a partnership between ARLIS/NA and PMA with funding from the IMLS. The four current NDSR Art residents will then briefly introduce themselves and discuss the digital stewardship projects they are working on at their host institutions (PMA, Mia, Yale Center for British Art, and University of Pennsylvania).

Instructions for arrival:
Please enter through the Target Wing entrance. Once at Mia, you can get to the Target Wing entrance from either Stephens Ave. (via the cut between two buildings; walk into the courtyard and turn left, then it’s on the left) or 3rd Avenue (through the 2 sets of glass doors & straight across the courtyard). The Target Wing entrance doors are located underneath the engraving on the building that says “Minneapolis Institute of Arts.” The Friends Community Room is located in the far left corner of the Target Wing atrium.
There is all-day free street parking on Stephens Avenue, W. 25th Street (between Stephens and Nicollet Ave), and the north (park) side of W. 24th Street at the front of the museum’s main facade.
