Call for Chapter Officers

While it feels like the year has just begun, we’re already halfway through! It’s time to consider the leadership of ARLIS/NA-TC in 2019. At this fall’s chapter meeting we will be electing two new officers to the ARLIS/NA-Twin Cites Chapter executive team: Vice Chair and Secretary/Treasurer. Both positions are two-year terms, as the Vice Chair will automatically be moved into the Chair position the following year (2020).

Learn more about the officer positions here.

Past officers are welcome to serve additional terms. Students and new members are also welcome. Officers must be members (or must become members if elected) of ARLIS/NA, the national organization.

If you are interested in this position, or know of someone you think would be a good fit, please complete this form, including a short paragraph describing your experience and interest, or that of the nominee. Please complete the form by the end of August.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about these positions. ARLIS/NA-TC is a fun community of people to work with. The time commitment is fairly minimal with most work occurring at the start of the calendar year, and around the spring and fall business meetings. You will receive support and training from current officers.

Also happy to discuss more at the ARLIS/NA-TC summer book club on Thursday, August 16th!
